BOYD COFFEE COMPANY OPENS RETAIL STORE
IN DOWNTOWN PORTLAND’S ELIOT TOWER

Portland, Ore – On June 7, 2007, Boyd Coffee Company opened an elegant new retail store in downtown Portland’s Eliot Tower Building, located at S.W. 10th and Jefferson streets.
The Eliot Tower Store’s design reflects Portland’s Cultural District surroundings, which includes the nearby Portland Art Museum, Oregon Historical Society, Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall and numerous live theater and performance venues. The store’s warm, inviting space features private booths, study and business-meeting friendly tables and a café bar with stools. AMAA Design Group, the designers best known for Hotel Luçía, Typhoon Restaurant and Mingo, designed the store’s interior. In addition, the store has an outdoor patio and free Wi-Fi available.
The Eliot Tower store offers a wide variety of hot and cold coffee drinks and caffeine-free specialty beverages, along with pastries and bagels, light lunches and evening dessert selections. The location is also easy to reach on public transportation; it is directly across the street from a Portland Trolley Line stop.
The Eliot Tower Boyd Coffee Company Store is open every day of the week, from 6:30 a.m. to 8 p.m., but will be closed for the Independence Day holiday on Wed., July 4, 2007.The Boyd Coffee Company store located at S.W. 15th and Taylor closed in May.
