Tim Larson joins Boyds Coffee as COO

Tim LarsonTim Larson has joined Boyds Coffee as Chief Operating Officer, bringing more than 25 years of experience in procurement and business leadership.

“I am extremely confident in Tim’s ability to rapidly create operational efficiencies that will benefit our customers,” said Jeffrey Newman, CEO of Boyds Coffee.  “He has an impressive record of success in reducing operating costs, improving supply-side relationships, expanding operational logistics, and enhancing customer service.”

Previously, Larson was Chief Procurement Officer at Michael Foods, Inc., a multi-billion dollar company in Minneapolis.  He is an adjunct professor and a member of the Supply Chain Advisory Board at the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management, and his certifications include Certified Purchasing Manager, Certified in Production and Inventory Management, and Certified Packaging Professional.

Larson earned his Master of Management and Administration with highest honors from Metropolitan State University and his Bachelor of Science from the University of Wisconsin. He has been married to his high school sweetheart, Ericka, for 32 years, and they have two children. He enjoys the outdoors.
